Devlog #4 Stage cleared!

WELCOME BACK FELLOW ESCAPISTS! Great to meet you again in this Devlog.

As of today, we have made some amazing progress for Escape! and right now, here, we're going to share all of this good news to you, fellow escapists!

Here are some things that we have done over last week:

1. We have finished making the background for stage 1 which is the prison where our main character is arrested. The stage art will look like a sketch which is our art style. Because the time setting for Escape! is in the future, the usual guards at prisons will be changed with robots such as drones. The prison bars are also changed, they will be electric bars which are constantly flowed with high current of electricity. The prison name will be LA GERA. Unfortunately, the background for stage 1 can't be uploaded so sorry fellow escapists!

2. The power-ups for Escape! are done! There will be 2 power-ups which can be used to defeat the enemies or to freeze them. They are the freeze power-up and thunder power-up which you can see above. The freeze power up are square-shaped with the color blue in it and the color black on the outer part of the power-up icon. In the middle part of the icon, lays the freeze symbol which is colored light blue. As for the thunder power-up, it is also square-shaped with the color black on the outer part of the icon. The difference between the freeze power-up icon and the the thunder power-up icon is that the thunder power-up icon uses cream color in the inner part of the icon and a yellow thunder symbol in the middle of the icon.

3. We have also finished making the tiles that will be arranged as platform for stage 1. The tiles are designed to look futuristic with the addition of rockets under it. There are also some marks that are meant to be the electric flow in the tiles.

That's all for today fellow escapists! There will be a prototype of this game coming in the near future. So, stay tune and don't miss it!
