Devlog #2 Creating Codes
Welcome back escapists (a term for our players)! In this Devlog, we, Drawn Studio, would like to share the progress we have made throughout last week. Moving on from the creation of our idea last week, throughout the week we have come up with some more ideas. We thought that it would be best to add many types of enemies to accompany our main enemy which is the prison guards. We would like to add some monsters. This is made to make the game has more variations and will keep you, escapists excited. These enemies including the guards will also have skills that they can use against us.
Aside from this, we also have created codes for the player's movement. For now, the player already can move left and right. We have not make the jump code. The jump code and also other codes (such as collecting power ups) will be done this week. We also want to start making the assets this week. We have tried making some art for the game but we haven't make a decent one. Throughout last week, we finished making the temporary GDD (Game Design Document) so that we can focus on making Escape! based on our idea in the Game Design Document. By the way, Escape! will be created using Unity game engine.
We think that's it for this Devlog and our progress throughout last week. We will continue working on Escape! and keep on sharing our progress in the Devlog we publish every Monday (Indonesian time). So, stay tune for our Devlog! Goodbye and see you soon!
